Josephines is closed. It's latest venture was a club where boys danced for boys. Before that it was a club where girls danced for boys (at very high prices, I might add).

Josephines and Centerfolds and Pirates Club all have recently closed.

A few weeks ago I ran into the head of security from Centerfolds. (He used to work at the Horseshoe,and after that ran the Key Largo for a while). He said that they were remodelling Centerfolds and would be closed for a short time. I agree that it has been more than a "short" time. I would still be interested in owning this place.I have written before that at the right price,and a little common sense it could be very successful.They have never had good chicas there,and that's the prime ingredient for making a strip club successful. It certainly has the second, third and fourth most important ingredients.....LOCATION,LOCATION,LOCATION.

then why dont you just do it.. get together the funds and make a go of it instead of just talking about it... i think you and I both know the reason why

I agree that CENTERFOLDS has potential for the right promoter. It's an excellent location. A key ingredient would be to get the right chicas in place, and keep the prices within reason.

I have been told, and have seen evidence, that they are indeed remodelling. I don't know what sort of remodelling they are doing or why. It doesn't seem like the problem was in the facilities, but perhaps they are adding rooms upstairs to change the, ah, business model? I know a couple of strip clubs that are overpriced for sexo because they don't have more than one or two rooms. Since they can't do much volume, they go for the occasional sucker. Time will tell what's really going on.
