Alright so Ive been offered a chance to be a mod in a chat room because Im a fairly popular person there and they are looking to increase moderators. Also I get along with the trolls. Should I take the position? Ive never been a moderator before and have no idea what it entails except "behaving wherever I am " as the main moderator put it, and not being able to block anybody. Im not sure if they get paid, and I think Im required to devote a certain portion of time to it. Is the price worth the reward, to wield the mighty ban hammer? Also I enjoy messing around and saying funny stuff, Im not sure what they would think of a mod doing this, I guess I would be the "troll mod". It might be lulzy but not sure how long it could last.
Im more worried about the time commitment than anything. I hate comitting my time unless its for a job I absolutely need. Should I take the mod position? That and I will be "marked" as a moderator wherever I go, and alt accounts arent allowed.
