First of all never believe SHIT a taxi driver tells you, especially if you asked them to take you to Lord Black. The taxi drivers make commission up to $10 to get you to a MP, or other club. Taxi drivers are notorious to mongers when they are asked to take them to Adelitas; the Taxi drivers offen tell the mongers it's CLOSED, but I know a massage parlor to take you. Just tell them to take you to the Zona anyway, or in the case of Lord Black, just drop me off around 9th street, other clubs are in the area, if LB is really closed.

Now if it came up from two different taxi drivers like you say in normal conversation, then it could be true. But usually it's not a BIG DEAL as these CLUBS get shut down from time to time, maybe they were caught with under age girls working the clubs, or other girls didn't have the proper paper work, and they decided to close the club, because the Club management was not present to pay the proper BRIBE. The clubs are usually OPEN the following week or even days after when the paperwork is cleared up, or the bribe is PAID.

Can someone confirm Penthouse and Lord Black are shut down?

I went with friends over Labor Day weekend and 2 taxi drivers said Penthouse is gone, and there were trouble in Lord Black so the police shut it down as well.

I know I shouldn't believe taxi drivers, but this came from 2 different drivers and one seemed pretty straight forward.

I HATE to talk about WAR stories on prostitution boards, because it just scares the would be mongers from going to Tijuana. I agree with Fireballs and SDBigdogg88 regarding cover charges. My experience is they'll let you in if you refuse to pay. So just walk away and see what happens.

There is a place called pussycats on revolucion kinda close to peanuts but on the other side of the street on the second floor. Theres is always a girl dancing.
