My first guinea pig is about a year and a half old, that's Billie Joe. I just got his son which he's never met before, and I thought they would make good roommates so I made a big C&C cage for them both, but while my best friend and I were out in the living room we came back to seeing blood on some of the cage furniture so I separated them immediately. I built a quick add on to the side of the cage for the son. Will they ever be able to live together in peace? Do they not like each other to the point where it's stressful to even have them in the same room?
By the way, I did introduce them slowly. At first, I had them run around together on my floor, and then I built a big cage for outside and they seemed to get along great outside, so I thought it would be okay to put them in the same cage if it was big enough.
By the way, I'm not sure where the blood came from... But the son's eye looks a little watery or something from the fight. I don't have money for a vet right now, can I use human eye drops on them? I've used them on my cat when they had eye problems and it helped.
