Introducing Sphynx to my Resident Cat?

So I've had my cat since she was a kitten and shes over a year old now. We got a sphynx yesterday and he is a male. We brought him home and she was waiting at the door and all havoc broke! She threw a 2 hour temper tantrum she hissed and growled but when i petted her she's let me pet her or she'd just smack myhand away, and the sphynx being a boy wants to um....have sex with my other cat so it complicates things more. The sphynx i about 2, maybe younger but what I want is someone to tell me how to stop this caos! I have my cat locked in her usual room (an empty room with her stuff in it) and the sphynx is cawing! HELP!
