If I had 2 cats, and then introduced 2 new cats to them, would they all come to accept each other? (After the initial hissing, of course!!) Just wondered if having an even number of newcomers to the same number of resident cats would be a helpful factor (i.e. one cat would not feel bullied by others)?
The reason I ask is because my parents have 2 cats, and if I were to get 2 cats with my husband, a few years later we might have to adopt my parents cats if my parents were too old to take care of them.... I hope this will not be a problem, as my husband loves cats too!
 
it really doesn't matter how many new cats you introduce actually more could be worse because the 2 cats you have now will me more so angered with more animals on "there territory". introduce them one at a time and give the cats time to adjust
 
cats need some time to adjust with stranger cats...ur cats will fight for few days and then, they will play........
