Introducing my small male Leopard Gecko To My big Female Leopard Gecko.?

Hi guys ive had 5 leopard gecko's Three have died With the Big female leopard gecko but i dont think she bullied them i think the other three were just Very sickly ones so about a year ago i bought a small male he was only probaly 3-6 months old and my female is about 2 years old and i am moving to a smaller house so im planning on Putting them together in a 20 gallon tank together for lack of spacemy male is much smaller then my female And He hasnt been with any leopard gecko's his whole life how should i introduce them?

I wouldn't. If he is much smaller than she is then she may bully him more and eat all of the food.

If you genuinely can't fit separate tanks into your new apartment, I'd get the largest tank you can fit (find one with at *least* twice the footprint of a 10-gallon), and put a divider in the middle. Put the heat pad where the divider is (or, if you run it length-wise, you can put it on one end), and give them each separate, well, everything.

Or, sell one or give it away to a friend or something.

Don't. Size mismatches will cause bullying and since they are so mismatched, she may even kill him. Why were you putting sickly geckos with your healthy one? You might even consider getting her tested for illness or parasites now. Always quarantine a new reptile before even considering introducing it to the rest, and even then, it's rarely a good idea to put reptiles together unless they're both females, roughly the same size, and the same species.

When this male becomes sexually mature, if he even makes it that far when put in with your large female, he will be constantly harassing her to mate with him. Even breeders only introduce males for a limited time until they mate and then remove them. You will cause undue stress to the female if she does not just mutilate the male at all. Don't mix them. Find a way to keep them in separate tanks.
