Ok, I'm 21. Never had a boyfriend until now. He's 23. He's the nicest guy ever. The thing is my parents want to meet him, but my mom is a critical person. Like she is a really mean person and a shallow b!tch and I'm afraid she won't like him because he's not the most physically attractive man (he's going bald), and she'll say stuff like, 'Why are you with him?' And when my mom doesn't like someone, she's not afraid to show it. I just don't want my boyfriend to be hurt. My Dad always said he'll like anyone I bring home as long as they treat me like gold and has a good job/has plans to do something with his life... which this guy has covered!

How should I go about this?
 
dont worry.... if he is truely a great guy im sure you have nothing to worry about.
talk to your mum and tell her that this is a big deal for you, that you really like him and you dont want her to treat him badly.

I'm sure everything will turn out fine, he sounds great and im sure your mum will see this too.
