It was suggested to me at a pet store, which I shall not name, that instead of using the popular split cage method(which I explained and said I needed a divider), I could simple introduce the gerbils in a neutral spot(like the bathtub) and then house them in an all new cage with fresh bedding, a new bowl, new food, and new everything.

It was suggested to me that by having a brand new cage and accessories the gerbil I already have wouldn't have a reason to feel territorial and therefore they wouldn't be likely to fight.

What do you think?
Yeah. That's what I thought. After having read all the things out there about gerbils,I didn't think it'd be that easy. Thanks guys.
