I've had my cockatiel for a year now, and he's a bit aggressive when he doesn't want to be interacted with, but other than that, he's very sweet.

Just today, my friend gave me his parakeet that he is currently unable to care for.

The parakeet has a fairly large cage, and he's still getting used to me, but he's doing okay.

Do you have any tips on how to introduce them and any other parakeet advice, such as care taking?
I've never cared for parakeets before.

Also, can parakeets eat cockatiel food?
