I live with my older sister and I already have a female jack russell/shih tz that's seven years old.
My sister saw this dog online that she absolutely fell in love with and she really wants it. It's a pug or puggle and it's 13 weeks old, everything is done for it (shots etc) and they're giving it away for free.
I'm wondering because I know that having two female dogs in one home isn't a good idea but I don't plan on staying with her forever and I really don't want my sister to miss out on this chance for a dog for herself. So is there anyway, bringing a another female dog into the picture would work?
I was already thinking that my bedroom would be off limits to this new dog so that my dog can claim that as "hers"? Idk. Advice?
