I have a 4 inch cherax quad who I want to breed. I believe it is a she I haven't actually picked her up to look I don't want to terrify her. I think its a girl because she has 4 pairs of swimmerettes and google says males would only have 3. She also has no red markings on her claws. My question is how to introduce a male to her without it her eating or killing it. It would be hard to find one as big as her. She is in a 55 gallon tank but her "territory" is right in the middle plus she travels at night to pick on the plecos. Any help would be appreciated.
