Introducing a Male Kitten to a female kitten?

Hi All!

I have got a 7 month old Female Kitten and tomorrow I will be collecting an 8 week old Male Kitten.

Is there a certain way I should introduce them, Is it okay that they are opposite sexes?

Hi! I am also in the process of introducing! (I have a 10 month old female cat and brought home a 2 month old little boy)

The webpage that I listed for you in sources helped me REMARKABLY. Take time to read and study it, and learn the way cats behave. All should go well in time, and cats need a lot of it to get accustomed to a new "intruder" in their house. Oh, and it doesn't matter if they are opposite sexes, since the kitten is kind of "neutral", the cat observes it as an alien, not a gender. Wish you the best of luck!

expect insanity while they run with each other............i have a seven month old kitten that i found in a snow bound parking lot in december.............

he loves to chase the other cats into the laundry room door and into the garage and back again !!!!!

Supervise them for the first few weeks

I just put both mine together and allowed them to get on with it.

They hissed and scratched each other a few times, but an hour later I got the cat treats out and started giving them both treats. far apart at first and gradually closer together.. I did this every few hours for first few days and that was it.

Best friends now
