Introducing a gouldian and zebra finch?

I've had a pair of zebra finches for a few years now. The female recently died. My mom is pretty upset over the loss and always wanted a pair of gouldians so I thought I'd get her a pair for Christmas. If I introduced a pair of gouldian finches with the male would this be okay? Or should I do anything else for the male? I feel so bad for him as he appears to be very upset, so I'm not sure if introducing the gouldians would be bad for him.

No problem for zebra to mix with gouldian but gouldian are very sensitive birds require temperature control and special care,so u a better also get a female zebra for the male,and keep a pair of gouldian separately.
