Introducing a female and male rabbit of different ages?

i have a neutered male seal point mini of 3 years old and i am hoping to get another bunny to introduce.My little boy is friendly to all my other pets that ive introduced to him (guinea pigs, chickens,cats) but none of those pet shared a cage.should i have the bunnies in two separate cages or the same? i have 2 cages at the moment but im building a new one as one is starting to fall apart and im wondering if i should build that cage to fit two bunnies? the new bunny will be female but does it matter what age she is? its hard to find an older bunny around where i live most of them reach an age and get killed (sad but true ) but it is possible for me to find one. im just wondering if the age will make a difference. also any tips on introducing them would be appreciated but i mainly want to know about the age difference...

Normally male and female rabbit won't fight, just check on them just in case. The age does not make big difference, some rabbits just bond perfectly, but make sure that they don't mate. When the female rabbit is mature, she might attack the male rabbit because of territory problems, so get her spayed in time.

When you introduce them, put them in a place where they have never been, i mean in your house...And then put them in a corner, before that pls put your gloves on. ( If they hate each other when they meet ) They will hop in front and then smell each other, if they started grooming each other, well congratulations! They will bond well. If they start making some growling sounds, well sorry, they do not like each other and may start fighting. So this is where you use your gloves to separate them. If you do not use your gloves, their claws might accidentally hurt you.

But like I said before, male and female rabbits seldom fight.
