How do you split clips in iMovie? (The one that comes with a MacBook Pro.)

Also, do you know how to do green-screen with iMovie? (I know how to do it in the program I used to have, I'm just wondering if there is a place to put in a second movie in iMovie? It seems to me like there isn't.)

Also also, if you upload a video to YouTube and it has a black boarder (not on the sides- I'm not that stupid- Just a full black boarder on the top as well as the sides) how do you stretch the video out? (It's shot in HD on a Cannon something-dy something?) I think one of the ixus's.
