im a polyvore newbie looking to really get into the site....?

i just got an account on polyvore and i loooove it.
are there any vets that have any advice as far as getting involved in the polyvore community, such as ways to make connections with other users and groups and whatnot. i'm having lots of fun with it already. add me if u like and leave feedback (positive or negative... its all welcomed)! b.king.designs is my username... First of all,it takes quite a while to get your "name" out in Polyvore, so it takes patience. First thing,start making lot of sets. It doesn't have to be a daily basis sort of thing,however you want to keep your profile active. Next,add people to your contacts and like and comment on other people sets. This almost always work for me. The people will more in likely add you and comment/like back.It's a common Polyvore-courtsey. Answering questions helps because if you have a great answer people are going to look at your profile and add/like/comment.Joining groups and entering your sets in contests help too;especially if you win a contest. Once your on Polyvore for a while create your own group. Your members will more in likely be more loyal visiters to your profile and recommend you to other people.
Just stick with it. It takes a little fashion savviness,time, and luck to really make your Polyvore profile popular.
