...interest or type of music? I would like to know if an early introduction to music could affect the music you like now. Like if you were introduced to a band when you were 5, would you like similar bands to them or not? Or if your were introduced to a band when you were 9, would that mean you'd be interested in more of a Justin Bieber type of thing in the end? Aside from the Genre or artist but could the age affect the turn out of the music you're interested to? It would help if you could give me websites instead of answers. Thank you.

Definitely. I was introduced to classic rock as a child, and now my favourite bands and artists were are releasing music 30 years before I was born.

I guess you listen to what you're brought up with. When I was younger my parents played a lot of 80's stuff so even though I was born in the 90's I enjoy most 80's music. But saying that I also have my own taste in music, so in a way, The answer is Yes and No.

sure it definately influences loads of people >> but for me the type of music i liked when i was like 10 has changed over the years i used to like bands like s club 7 >> but now im 17 i kinda jst grew outta them and for the last 6/7 years i been listenin to more r&b/Hip-hop/Rap but i do still like people like enrique iglesias & blue but no Bieber!

my parents played Buddy Holly and The Beatles when i was a kid, and i still love the music. when my daughter was a baby she would only fall asleep if Black Sabbath were playing. i don't know why, must have been the beat or Ozzy.
