Right, because before Christ, Murder was just fine.

I refuse to accept moral teachings from a group of people that believe slavery is just dandy and it is perfectly fine to stone your children to death if they don't go to bed when you tell them to.

There are plenty of religions that came before Christianity by a few thousand years that introduced these morals. Christianity is not the only moral religion to exist.

If Christians introduced those ideas, how come 2000 years ago before Christianity was formed people were still not murdering and stealing?

Very few of my morals come from Christian ideals. I believe in judging a person based on merit, not on belief or what they do behind closed doors with consenting adults. I believe in asking forgivness to an actual human who I've wronged, not a invisible supernatural diety. I believe in doing good things for humankind, not because I expect a god to reward me or punish me, but because I want to make the world a better place.

I don't sell my daughters to their rapists, I would NEVER attempt to murder my child, even if a god asked me to.

I actually can't think of any morals I have that come from Christianity.
