I think I would have to agree. Why he refers to 'Arabs' specifically, I don't know; but I can see it on a broad level. I think it is true for the human race as a whole. If we can never rise above our petty differences,such as race, religion, country, culture, etc., how can we ever be any better than silly and small? Two toddlers fighting over one cookie will fuss and carry on until it turns to crumbs and neither of them gets any. An adult observing this will try to teach but knows they must learn it is better for both if you share and compromise. Well, we are still fighting over our cookies, so to speak. How can we ever reach some profound enlightenment and human connection if we can't get past irrelevant things like the color of skin or choice of religion?
