I really want to introduce myself to this person at my yard but I don't know how?

Well I'm kind of new at my yard, only been there since early December, I share a horse two to four days a week. So far I don't know many people as I'm really shy! I vaguely know a girl from school (very vaguely) so I plucked up the courage to introduce myself, we went on one ride in the school for about twenty minutes, but as she's soooo shy too, I almost avoid her as it's so excruciatingly awkward to try and strike up a conversation with a girl equally shy as me. Another girl has asked me on a hack, and she's ok, but she's a bit kind of religious about her hair and makeup, and she's got loads of friends who are like 2,3,4 years older than us (were 14) so it's almost intimidating to go up to them to talk. Dint get me wrong, they're nice, but I find it really hard to be myself with them.
Anyway, so I've just noticed another girl around my age at the yard, and o really want to introduce myself. I've seen her horse and I really admire it- it is kind of a heavy weight horse with the most gorgeously enourmous feet. But whenever I see her, shed almost always with her mum. But awkward to try and strike a conversation with her mum there. So I thought I'd use the horse admiration thing to talk to her, but the only time I've seen her without her mum, she was just looking at the horses in the field, she had allreafy turned her horse out. Plus my dad had just come to collect me and was hanging around right next to me. So not ideal. And another thing- please don't think I'm being mean or rude, I'm not being predudiced or descriminating, but you know when you can tell someone might have special needs or learning difficulties, I think she MIGHT have them. Which would explain why her mum is always there. I still want to be friends with her, but I'm so shy it's difficult! How can I introduce myself?? Thanks
When I say "religious about her hair and makeup" I mean she spends ages fussing over makeup! Not that it's an actual religion.

Just stroll by the stall or pasture where she is and comment on how nice her horse is or how the weather is. Small talk. Introduce yourself politely and just make conversation. If your dad is there, just tell him your situation and that you would like to try and talk to her. I'm sure he'll be able to help you out.

Just say 'excuse me, what's your horse's breed/name? I think I've seen him at a show or something'' and that should strike it a good convosation. Or you could even ask her to help take a conformation pic of your horse and so on :] Don't come all onto her at once, as it can be a bit creepy, just take it normal, as you do. You could even just offer her some spare treats or things, like ''I bought these but my horse is rejecting them, do you want them?. Don't go around really proud or indulge too obviously into your horse, as this can seem intimidating, but also, don't act really really shy.

If you like her horse, tell her. Even if her mum is there. If I was out with my mum and someone new came to speak to me and they were obviously try, my mum would make an excuse to leave.
But yeah, before you try and make a relationship, ask her about her horse, when she rides, general horse related stuff. Then you can ask other questions. Just take your time

iknow what you mean, im really shy too. even if she is with her mom just go up to her and say "hi, ive seen you around here a little, your horse is really beautiful, my name is _____ whats yours?" then shell answer and everything and just get into a little bit of conversation with her and her mom.

Even if her mom is there you can still talk. When she's walking her horse, even if her mom is nearby, just say, "Wow, I love your horse's feet. He's completely gorgeous!"

Sure, you're not going to make a complete connection with her while her mom is right there, but at least it lays more foundation for when you can talk to her alone! It'll make things less awkward and uncomfortable down the line.
