I need to introduce someone to my friends!?

No, I don't mean that she is dating me or anything like that. I mean that she is going to be new to my school, and my old teachers recommended me to ease them into the school. They told me to introduce her to my current friends at the school. We are both girls, and I discussed it with some people and they all said that she would most likely be uncomfortable with a sleepover the first time I met her. Here's the thing, she is very offhand and blunt. I talked to her on the phone and her responses were Yes, No, No, Okay, Bye. So how would I do that?

Introducing someone around does not mean socializing outside of school or taking responsibility for them like that. Just introduce her to your friends, let her sit with you guys at lunch as her if classes are OK sit with her a few times. That's all. Probably within a few days she will decide whether she wants to be around your group or not and make her own friends.
The point if it all is so she has a familiar face to go to if she needs anything til she gets used to the new school.
