i got a 13 week old puppy how do introduce him to my 3 cats?

i only have 1 brave cat who suffered most of her life so she is tough and she is like ninja cat when the dog was asleep she jumped over the fence and smelled the dog and smelled around the room and even went by the window and the dog didnt even know she was around but when the dog starts barking she is gone and her tail gets really fat and she goes into combat mode i know the cat will go by the dog if it doesnt bark this cat used to be best friends with my love birds once that one cat goes the next 2 house cats (scared ones) who dont know what a dog is might follow

I have a better idea of how old something is when people count in months up to a year old.

So, we are talking about a 3 month old puppy. Puppy is to be crated anytime you can't supervise, and cats are to be kept away from the crate.

Have the puppy out only when you are right there to supervise everything the puppy does. The cats will probably run and hide at first, but will eventually warm up to the puppy.

Introduce him slowly and watch him with the cats at first. Keep him in his crate or in a different room until you think you can trust him with the cats.

Most dogs eventually get along with cats. Our teacup poodle was best friends with our cat, and they even played with toys together. The miniature poodle we have now is jealous of the cat. He avoids her, and she chases him sometimes, but they don't really hurt one another. He lets her know when she is out-of-line. Even our Sibe, Katie, who hated cats before we got ours, eventually got along with the cat, and claimed him as hers.
