...has to go back home, should I do it? Since the beginning of this week, I've been thinking about wanting to introduce the girl I kinda have a crush on to my family before she has to go back home for the summer from school in Idaho. I do want her to meet my family as a way of hanging out because I want to be thankful to her for being very nice to me throughout the spring semester of college for me. If I do talk to her about it, I don't know how she'll react to it if I say anything about it. I know I don't want to make her feel awkward about meeting my family. If I do talk her into wanting to meet my family, I was thinking about doing with her and a family member or two is watch a movie on Netflix. Is there a way to talk to her about this without making her feel awkward? Also, would it be appropriate to introduce her to my family as she is a good friend to me?

You said you kind of have a crush on her, do you guys hang out at all? If not, then it's probably weird to bring her home to meet the family. If so, then sure it's appropriate, just like having any friend over - just invite her over, don't make a big thing of it, just ask her if she wants to come for dinner or watch a movie or something, that's a good idea. If you lay all this, "you are special to me and I want to thank you for being so nice to me", blah blah, you will probably freak her out. Just approach it like you would inviting a guy friend over, it's really no different, you are simply bringing someone who is important to you a little closer into your inner circle, and there's nothing wrong with that.
