How were introduced to your Religion?

Were you baptized at birth, or did you convert later in life? If not, explain your religion and how you were introduced to it.

I worship the Holy Dollar, and I was introduced to Dollar Religion when I was very young and saved nickles and dimes in a little plastic box.... I later moved on to worshiping actual paper dollars - the symbols of our Lord!

My daddy thought I was going to die when I was baby (because I was born too soon), so he was like, "Son, I'm going to save your life with Jesus."

Went to Church on/off for the next ten years, then stopped. Was kind of religious, then I was like "Communism. I like it." So I turned into a communist. After that, I became an atheist. Haven't looked back since.

God found me, I didn't find God, though I was looking for answers.

I was born again at age 24 after studying religions for many months.....

Christ is the Lamb of God, He died for all our sins...by faith in His work we can be saved.

I was Baptized at birth as a catholic. You know how Catholics baptize in the name of the father, the son, and the holy ghost/spirit. I was raised a Catholic until I was about 10, my mom and me doesn't believe in the catholic religion. I think they have it wrong. Like in confession, and calling the preacher, father. and other stuff. So we went to an apostolic church and started reading the bible and Read that it says you should be blessed in the name of Jesus. So I got re baptized at that church I was going to in the name of Jesus Christ.

Was introduced to it when I was in my mid-late teens, although I remained a devout Xtians for a couple of years before I "converted". Followed it more as a spiritual philosophy for many years before getting into the religion part about 6 years ago.

I was raised Christian, for years I was debating with myself if i was wasting my time worshipping something that wasnt there. So after some prayer and research i realized that God is real and I started going to church alot more and try to read my bible every day.

A follower of Vanatru introduced me to Norse Paganism. I read about it and discovered that Asatru fit my personality better. I admire the warrior ethos of Asatru, the stress on ethics, virtue, and honour and respect for Nature. Years later, I formally became an Asatruar.
