how to introduce yourself to a girl?

i am leaving out of town for a week and i am looking to get a girlfriend. there will be plenty of girls where i am going. how do i walk up to them and talk to them? i am 16. and i am not trying to be weird so how can i get their number and how can i find out how old they are and make conversation with them without seeming odd? Confidence. If you dont think you have enough confidence. Think this: these girls that you are probably gonna see, will never see or talk to you again if you dont introduce yourself. You have to make the first move, always. Also, with a bit of luck you will actly not need amazing good looks to do this. Girls, want the guys to make the chase, but they don't want to catch some guys staring at them. They want a guy that walks up to them just to talk to them.
