How to introduce new food to a budgie?

I have four budgies, all of them WON'T eat fruit/veges. I am getting a bit worried about them now, because I know that fruits and veges are an important part of their diet, so how do I get them to eat it? I obviously can't force them to eat it, and I wouldn't even if I could... So how do you do it?

Budgies aren't adventerous with their diet, unless they have seen another bird eat it or can smell that it is safe, they won't touch it.
So, make a big show of eating the fruit and veg in front of them. If you are interested in the food, they will be interested. Pretend that they are 3yo kids, they don't care about anything untill someone else is playing with it. The same applies with budgies

Take the food dishes out when you put them to bed, Feed them he fruits and veggies in the AM when they are hungry. After an hour or so ,feed regular diet. You can weave Romaine lettuce and other greens through the bars. Jam carrots between the bars. Chop veggies in different shapes. Add chopped veggies and fruits to birdy bread (Google for recipes)
