How to introduce my parents to a man i met online?

I met a wonderful man online which my parents found out about and told me to block his number and email but i still kept in touch with him. He wants to meet my parents so its all above board but am terrified of what my parents reaction will be. This man wants to be honest about everything with them. I am terrified my father will ask him to leave without talking to him. I love this man and he loves me and wants to marry me. I am in my 40's and come from a strict caholic background, They think he is grooming me and I know tht is not the case. What do I do?

You are a grown woman, think about it. You can do whatever you want. You don't need your parent's approval anymore. Follow your heart, do what makes you happy. Do not live your life trying to make others happy; they will never be satisfied.

Bring him round to your parents and tell them he's the guy you met online and he's been looking forward to meeting you.
Tell them also he's open and honest and will answer any questions your parents throw at him to gain their respect.

He doesn't need your fathers permission to marry you. Its nice, but it isn't necessary.

Maybe a good sit down with your dad alone will soften the situation. Dont tell your dad you met online at first, just tell him how amazing and happy this guy makes you.
If the guy really wants your dad to know you Met online, explain to him how strict your parents are.

Well, wow. I really never came across a situation lik this. Youre in your 40's, Yet, he has to ask your father for your hand, I mean, you are in America, So, I think you should go get married, and tell your parents, he;s the love of your life, their choice to accept it or not, its your life, your choices you cant do this for ever
