How to begin an essay introducing yourself?

I'm writing an essay where I need to introduce myself, the prompt is "Write an essay in which you introduce yourself. Please discuss the following: interests, activities (extracurricular, community, athletic), and experiences you enjoy or value most.". I'm lost at how to start this. I don't want to sound extremely casual and say "Hey, my name is...." but I also don't want to sound fake and extremely structured. Any help or ideas about starting would be appreciated! This is for an academic program so I will probably have to mention some other things about my academics in the intro paragraph.
