How should i introduce myself to her?

My friend said he was going to introduce a girl to me, I'm interested in her. How should i introduce myself to her?

Here are some other questions:
1. Would that be a good idea for my friend to do that? Or should i go up to her and introduce myself to her?
2. What should i say to begin? And how can i keep a nice convo going on?

I get super shy around girls, how can i open up when i'm with her? I don't wanna mess up and give a bad first impression!

Introduce yourself to her. Girls LOVE confidence. We like a guy that takes charge. You don't have to be agressive, just be cool. Breathe and be cool. Ask her questions, and listen to her. She will know that you are interested. Even if it doesn't work out, you will know that you have a nice friend that you won't know where it will take you. =)

No the friend thing is good it would be weird if you did it alone and I think you should just smile and act confident and it will all go well

Having your friend introduce you to her is fine, that can be a conversation in itself or a topic to start the convo. Just be yourself and let the rest will follow. If anything is meant to be it will be. Go into it with confidence and self assurance so you are not to shy, but a girl doesn't like a super shy non talking boy if she cant get to know a little about them.
