how much should you tip for a massage?

got a massage it was okay, nothing super at the end the person asks for a tip so I gave them 10 dollars fior an hour massage, I thought 10 seemed like a good tip but they made one of those I can't believe you only gave me this much looks and held out their hand expecting more. my logic was 10 dollar tip plus whatever their base pay is should be more than enough for a soso massage. and just left. is 10 tip for a massage unheardofly low?
it was 70 for the massage without tip so paid 80 for the one hour
