I am entering the 9th grade next school year. I am eligible to take Spanish 2H, Geometry Honors, Global Honors, Biology Honors, and English 9 Honors (ALL HONORS CLASSES). I am currently taking Earth Science Honors, Algebra Honors, Spanish 1H (ALL HONORS), a normal Social Studies course, and a normal English course. I have straight A's, with maybe one B+. My brother believes I can handle all 5, and some of my friends do too. I am on the Junior Varsity Cheerleading team which practices everyday after school. I plan on taking a lunch as an elective so i can do some homework then, and then some right before practice. My question is, is 5 HONORS courses too much?
You may think a good idea for me is to drop cheerleading, but I cheer because it's more than just something I love to do. It's the one thing that keeps me sane right now in 8th grade. It's one of the bigger things in my life that I look forward to everyday. So dropping cheerleading isn't a great idea. Sure it's not impressive, but it's something I like to do. My brother got into NHS and graduated; and odds are my other one will too. Then one day I also plan to. My mom already is going to get me and my other brother involved in as much as we can so we can put it on college applications.
