If you are in Riga, cheap to go by Ryan, you can go to Liepaja and Ventspils.
Bouth harbors cities.
Riga is almost 2/3rd of Latvia in economy etc. So outside more easy to get in touch with girls.

Then South to Vilnius, you can make a stop in Panevecys. And go to Martini Club.

I've been to both Riga and Vilnius twice each and I haven't been to the places you mentioned yet. Liepaja and Ventspils. I just may go back there one more time. Do you really think I should go back there once more, Parker? is Liepaja and Ventspils and the other cities in Lithuania really worth it enough to take another trip there, honestly?

Well, I just returned from my trip to Latvia. I was there for about six days total. I didn't really like Riga that much. Now I'm not a seasoned traveler or anything like that so I can't compare it to other places but I have been to Vilnius and it is MUCH safer than Riga. In Riga you get a lot of people accosting you at night trying to get you to go into their clubs or stripclubs or whatever only to rip you off big time. I've heard some crazy stories from other travelers I met while there. But there are some good things about it. I found that the girls are very approachable. If they don't like you they'll just ignore you completely most of the time but not in a bad way. I think I made out with a girl every nite I was there was great but for some reason I could never close the deal and get laid which sucked. DO NOT GO to ROXYs or La Roca!! Don't go to any of the Russian bars/clubs! They are dangerous. (at least in my experience) We even got into a fight with a guy on the street who started a fight with four of us for no apparent reason. The fight ended when we got back near freedom tower where the police were. Places to check out are Palkvadies (night club) on Thurs. night, Cuba massageplanete (there is a FINE bartender that works there! and the DJ was Awesome when we went there on a Thurs! kinda expensive though) and French bar (this has to be the best bar in Riga! everyone goes there and it's just great! i met plenty of girls there every time I went there!) Hope that helped or whatever.

My trip to Riga was a good one. We meet alot of girls who showed alot of interest and we made alot of links.

Everywhere we went we got alot of attention. Half of it was love and the other half was hatred/fear(from the men). There are not many black people here as we only saw 2 in the whole city. No one directly came to us with anything bad but our friend later confirmed alot of people were cussing when her and her friends were with us. She also told me she did not realize how racist her people were. Now she knows.

So called Russian clubs would not permit us entry.

My feeling about the trip is that most women we meet showed us love.
We will defintely return but only when it gets a little warmer.

Well, whores will love ANYONE for money. So you won't have a problem there. You'll like Poland and Czech Republic. But Russia, Ukraine, and Latvia are VERY dangerous for certain ethnicities. I would stay away from Latvia as well. It's not worth the trip anymore. Czech Republic is much better.

Hey guys, I am thinking of visiting a few countries in eastern europe this month or next month, namely the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, Estonia and Poland. Does any one know if black guys are welcomed and/or preferred by eastern european girls and how is the non-pro scene in these countries? As a black guy, would I have a better chance visiting other eastern european countries other than the ones previously mentioned or does it not matter. I am asking because I have heard a few black American guys talking about how they had a great time in eastern europe and how the girls loved them.

Also, I heard that the Ukraine is very dangerous and that I should not go there. Is that a fact or simply false rumors?
