how hould i introduce myself to this guy i find very interesting?

ive been extreeeeeemely shy the couple of years, but ive been taking risks because im tired of just waiting around and life passing me by, luckily thyve been paying off. Well theres this guy in my college ive had a couple of classes with and while hes not the most coventionally handsome (far from it actually according to my friends lol) but u find something alluring about him when he speaks up in class and also his clothing and hair...its looooooooong. Anyhow i was wondering how to go about it, i see him walking around a lot and we make eye contact and smiles sometimes. But i usually dont meet ppl on my own and i thought i could go up to him and say "something , anything".

Any ideas on what, how, when? I dont have any classses with him during summer school tho =(
shouldve said this before i dont know him or his name ive only started to het out of my shell...prob would make it more awkward right...im still going to do it tho imean whats the worst that could happen?

um the easiest way i think is Facebook! hit him up! say whatssup, hows life, blah blah blah start a normal conversation!
But in real life, you can do the same. Say, "Heyy ____ (name)! how are you? i never really get to talk to you much. hows life?

i think the best topic to talk about is Music. Ask him aoout his fav band, and ask him if he could recommend some songs.
If the conversations go well, maybe you could ask him to lunch or some coffee or something xD
