How do I introduce two characters without making it obvious they'll fall in love at

the end? Little bit about them:

Vlad Castello: 19, sleek brown hair, icy blue eyes, high/structured cheek bones. He was kind and caring before, but has now turned into more of a "bad boy" - arrogant, spontaneous, sarcastic, charming, dangerous, low temper, and can snap easily.

Juliette Girard: 18, long wavy black hair, hazel eyes, pale, fairly petite. She is self-centered, selfish, spoiled, seductive, playful, flirtatious, and can be cold at times.

Make Vlad and Juliette not even really meet in the beginning and make one seem like a minor character. Then have Juliette like dating someone else and Vlad can flirt around with girls but he's not really dating anyone. Though maybe Juliette's boyfriend cheats on her or something or hits her at one point, idk, just some reason for them to break up.

First of all, you can make them fight a lot. If you are in the beginning of the story, you could make them think that they are somehow related, even though they aren't. However, this is a bit far-fatched. Maybe the most simple thing to do is to have one of them completely indifferent about the other.

Don't make them fall in love. Those two characters are unpleasant and despicable people. I can't stand the idea of them being together.

have them ignore or dislike each other at first. when they are introduced have one or the other have a boyfriend or girlfriend in tow. kinda not interested. then later in the book have them break it off so the two can fall in love and get together. hope this helps
