How do i introduce rats to water?

Hi everyone, i have two haired/two hairless rats. So i have four haha.
My two haired i've had for a few months, so i'm going to do this with them first.
Whenever i to give them little kisses on their back, they smell like pee!! I want to make them smell fresh, and i'd also like to restore the brightness of the white on one of my haired rats.
How do i introduce them to water?
