How do I introduce my rabbit to my dog?

My dog should have been a hunting dog but we don't hunt. My dog has tried to attack pretty much any living creature she comes across besides other dogs. She has killed wild rabbits many times so I am very scared to introduce her. I also know rabbits can easily die of a heart attack if a dog just scares the rabbit a little bit... Should I maybe just not introduce them at all?

A dog doesn't know the difference between a pet rabbit and a wild one. If you want to keep your rabbit, keep it away from your dog.

Pretty much. your dog will see no difference between your rabbit and the wild one's she's gone after. The only difference you can make is that like everything else in the home the rabbit is YOURS and in this case off limits. In no way should you ever allow this dog unsupervised access to your rabbit unless you want to just hand her a free meal she didn't have to work for.

And just an FYI if you are going to have a hunting dog and not hunt you need to provide her with an outlet for that drive.

keep them in a cage the dogs can see them clearly with and the dogs will soon get use to them.

i would just try to keep them separate if i were you.
but if you really want them to meet keep your rabbit in the cage and have your dog on the lead and just see where they go from there but if your dog goes for it dont try again otherwise your 'bunnie' will be lunch!

Don't even bother. Ur bunny would by lunch if you ever left them alone.....
