How do I introduce my guinea pig?

I have two guinea pigs right now (both girls) and i'm planing on getting another one (also a girl). I was wondering how do i introduce all of them? I have a seperate cage that i can put my new one in for the time being until they get use to eachother.

maybe take them all out and let them sniff each other?

Put your cages next to each other, but not too close so that they can fight. Leave it for a few days until they get used to each others scent. Then, out one of the old ones in the new ones cage, but keep a eye on them. After around 5 minutes, put the old one back, and do the same with the other. After a few days swap them around putting the original two in the new ones cage, and the new in the old cage, so that they get used to their other scents. Put them back, and then leave them until you/the owner knows that they are ready.
