I have a Chihuahua- she's always been overly protective (not letting people in our house, barking, attacking other animals that are near me, etc.) I got a pet sugar glider about a month or so ago and they HATE each other. I knew it wasn't something fixable. But I was considering giving my sugar glider to a friend and getting a ferret or something like that. I was wondering how to introduce them where my dog would calm down and not attack it. Should I introduce them first not at my house so she won't get AS protective? or what? Thanks(:

my friend's dog is REALLY dog aggressive.

but she got along with the new puppy...it was weird...we expected the dog to go nuts but we got a 360 reaction.

i guess they tend to go easy on puppies.
 
your chihuahua has behavioral issues start with that before you bring any pets home. SHE WILL not accept any of them ....You need to have bounderies for it right now he feels as if he owns your home. In his head he is the one who calls the shots so start with that.
