How do i introduce my 12 week old miniature schnauzer to my 6 month old pitbull?

So I did the thing where i held the dog and let the other dog sniff him. my pit did fine and even started licking her. I tried setting the schnauzer on the ground with my hands on him and the pitbull kind of rushed at him. I just want to know if this is common after 1 day and does petsmart or something like that have a class i oculd go to to work on it

Get 2 people to hold leashes. Have the pit on a tight leash so he can sniff the other dog but can't touch it

Well firstly APBT's in general are natural dog aggressive. So if your eally want to try and make this work set your dogs up for success. Did you introduce them on neutral territory or on your current dogs home turf?

Generally the ebst way to introduce two dogs to each other is take them to a neutral setting like say a park. Have both dogs leash and allow them to greet the way dogs normally do and as thing progress if it's looking good you can let one off leash then allow the other off elash. But always keep them supervised
