I have two guinea pigs Snuggle and Squeak they are 2 year old brothers.
They have an outdoor hutch which connects to a run so they have excise in the spring/summer.
In the winter we bring their hutch into the garage (our garage has never had a car in it, so no need to worry about fumes etc) I am now thinking of buying an indoor cage so in the winter they don't have to be in the garage but they can be inside. Unfortunately I don't have enough room for a C&C cage but a normal indoor cage is ok. I understand they need excise in the winter as well, so floor time is what I am going to start to do with them this winter. My guinea pigs aren't litter trained very well. Will the kitchen be a good place for floor time (we have laminate flooring) there are no appliances in our kitchen only in the utility room. So if I block of the utility room their will be no danger, our kitchen is pretty big. How can I introduce them to floor time?? What if they just sit there on the floor and don't move??
Thanks
