how can i introduce a new lovebird?

i have two peach faced lovebirds a blue and yellow. i recently was told they might be two females. i want them to have babies so i bought a green male for them but they seem to not like him. i have him in a small cage next to theirs but when i take them out whether is in couples or all three, they attack the green one, who just runs away and hides. i been trying to get them used to each other for four days now. can anyone help me?

You should've bought all three at the same time. Well, best to try and wrap him in blanket, then put the blanket with the other birds, and see how the react.

I tried that once. It will take some time and patience for the two birds to get used to the new one, but give it time. The females are really dominant and having an attitude of "what's theirs is theirs" so you have to wait a little while until they start warming up to each other - do NOT rush into anything.
