How can I introduce a new kitten to an animal established home ?

hi, I have one dog that likes to chase after, and I have a kitten from human society. They are in complete separate room right now. This dog is VERY friendly and sweet, but just being a dog with high pray drive. The kitten has been super well socialized with all kind of noise, other cats and people, but not with dogs.
So, I am very careful about meeting them, but any tip ??

By now they will have smelt and heard each other and are curious about "what is on the other side of the door".
Find a neutral place in the house, make sure the kitten knows that there is a small safe space that they can get to. (box with a blanket, her bed, your lap etc)
Let the dog in - and you have to stay calm.
Introduce them nose to nose and see what happens next.
The dog will probably get some nose scratches and the kitten wil probably get chased- but they will be fine.
They will sort out the pecking order themselves. Acording to us it will be Human - Dog - Cat
The cat will asume it has domminance over everything except the fridge (this is normal) and the dog will be happy chasing a ball (again normal).
It could take a couple of months - keep an eye out and don't let one bully the other, but do let them sort it out. Kinda like kids.
