How can I get a new law passed? How can I introduce it? I witnessed something, that

should be illegal.? I was at wal mart and a little kid, a baby like 5 years old was wearing a U.S. Army Soldier Outfit on.

I want to make it anybody who allows somebody under the age of 13 wear a military outfit to be a misdemeanor and punishable by up to 1 year in jail and a $2,500 fine.

Making kids wear this is child abuse, and it is brainwashing the child to think there country is never wrong, when in fact there have bee nmany wars, when the u.s. troops represented the terrorists and the other side the freedom fighters. It also tells him to be a military person , when they just can not understand exactly what they are getting into.

How can i make this a federal law, and how if i cant, who do i see about passing this law? I live in Washington

A judge will laugh at you, a senator will ask you to leave his office, even the president (as stupid as he is) has enough common sense to completely disregard anything you say.

Okay, so what if I have an issue against cops? Your precedence will set it that no child can wear (even a silly) cop outfit, or fireman outfit. Or think about a prisoner outfit (you know, the old fashioned kind with stripes and the shackle), what does that teach the kid? To be a prisoner?

I usually try to be nice, even to the most flaming of liberals, but this is absolutely asinine. The fact that you would ask this really shows your intelligence level. People like you shouldn't even be allowed to try to influence public opinion.

Write your congressman or woman and your senators. They have to introduce a bill and then it gets voted on....Didn't you watch School House Rock when you were a kid....oh, maybe that would have been child abuse to educate children on basic US civics lessons.

First, do a tad bit of research on a document called the Constitution, specifically Amendment #1.
If you still believe this should be a law, YOU can not introduce it.
Contact your congressional rep and both Senators from your state.
If you meant Washington DC contact your congressional rep.

Did you stop to think that this child may have a parent in the military and is simply proud of their parent?
