Hotels In The Alley

I arrived in LZ shortly after 1PM yesterday (I like pulling SGs out of the rain) and hit the North entrance desk of Cascades at 1:35 PM asking for a room for the evening. I was told that only $70 Jacuzzi rooms were immediately available, but the Norte desk clerks suggested I come back in about one hour when other rooms might be clean and available.

I considered their suggestion, but instead walked around to the alley and told Sandy that one of her favorite clients couldn't get a room in her hotel. She looked puzzled, considering what time of day it was, and suggested that I go with her where she would do the talking with members of the South desk. In less than a minute ultilizing Sandy's representation, I had the electronic key to a $45 double room in my hot little hands.

Soon after that I had Sandy in my hot little hands.

In order of anticipated cleanliness, your next alternatives in LZ for an overnight room would be:

Hacienda de Santiago
Coahuila Hotel (above AB)
Hotel Jalos (next to CC)
Hotel Leyva (next to Jalos)
Mini Hotel
Hotel Enva
Michoacan #1
Los Monitos
Eduardo Hotel (cold water only)
Najera

The El Porton would be at the top of the list on a weekday, but they assert that no rooms are available for overnight on weekends.

Cabs are available at all hours.

thanks a lot for the info guys, i really appreciate it. iv'e been in tj many times but this would be the first time i'll be spending the night. i'll probably arrive there at 10 pm and most probably cascades will be fully booked, maybe i have no choice but to go to Rio. You guys don't recommend i stay in the other cheap hotels in the alley right? iv'e seen most of them and they are dirty as hell, do they have some that are a little bit cleaner, like rooms for the overnighters? also, is it safe going arriving in tj around 10, i can probably still catch a cab right? any do's and dont's? i'll be alone. thanks again guys!

Check-out time at Cascades is 1PM.
Check-in starts at 2PM and the place fills quickly.

We are starting the three-month winter period where rooms will be more obtainable for mongers. Cascades houses many chicas, who tend to start leaving south for home in droves about this time every year. This makes more rooms available in the winter for male mongers.

Keep trying at Cascades, but try to get there as close to 2PM as you can. Also your willingness to take their more expensive rooms ($9 more for a double or about $35 more for a jacuzzi room) will greatly improve your chances there.

Other Zona hotels tend to fill up less quickly.

The best alternative to Cascades is the Rizo de Oro. This hotel is above Bar Tropical and owned by the same family group as Cascades and four bars in the heart of La Zona (Bar Tropical, Miami, Hong Kong & Las Chevalas) so getting chicas from those bars to go to Rizo de Oro es no problemo.

There are other alternative hotels in LZ with overnight rooms.
This time of year I bring a small $12 space heater from Walmart - chicas like a warm room and certainly the SGs will be less rushed to return to the cold hard sidewalk.

Hopefully Scatmandoo can come to your rescue, as he seems to be on top of the alley and alley hotels. I know that over the years Hotel Coahuila and Las Cascadas make it difficult for guys to rent overnight rooms on weekends.

Obviously if you go out of the alley the Hacienda de Santiago or Lleyva would be options.

hi guys! i'm planning to spend the night this friday, i prefer to stay at the hotel next to miami / hongkong, which i think is the best in the alley but when i was there 2 weeks ago, around 6 pm, they told me that they we're fully booked. i really want to stay in or close to the alley. if they are fully booked again, any suggestions where i could go? thanks a lot!
