help with back pain please

HI all i have alot of medical problems, and now my back has gone into what only can be called a spasm.
I have rang my gp as i am unable to get to his surgery and due to allother medication his only answer is diaziapam or hosp
I have arthritus in all my joints, sudeks atrophy, fibromialgia, poly mialgia, well all the algers if im honest and nerve damage in in my face from a shoulder and neck problem and to top all that i had a knee replacement 3 years ago that has failed due to a bone infection which has wore the bone away either side of the replacement so it is unlikely to work second time around and now my other knee needs replacing i also have spondolitus at the top of my spine and nerve damage in my face from a bad shoulder and neck so i take morphine 60 mg twice daily amoungst other things now this im in agony with my back im not comfortable unless i am bent over double so if i was an animal walking on all fours i would be fine but with all my other conditions it makes this impossible, sorry for woffling but thought a brief medical outline may make it a bit easier for diagnosis also i have severe constipation only going once every two to three weeks and take treatment for this to no avail.
my back "went" on sat night and the pain is mainly on the left side from the centre of my back in line ith my hip going across and down the leg i am having trouble standing and holding my tummy muscles in and then trouble lyeing or sitting and the pain is horrific even with all my pain meds
I am just about to take one of the diazipams i have been given but wondered if anyone has any advice for a delapadated person like my self

Dear Julie,

I'm so sorry that things are so difficult for you at the moment. It sounds like you have a lot of challenges, and it takes a lot of strength to face them so squarely.

I would recommend taking some time out to really reflect on your life from a new space. Do you have time to do this? It seems like your body is desperately trying to communicate something to you. It would be worth quieting yourself in order to listen to what it's saying.

In the short-term, I would recommend some very gentle hands-on therapy, and perhaps a gentle detox to help your body in its healing work. If you continue to take your pain medication while drinking lots of water and eating just raw or lightly cooked fruit and vegetables for a few days, you will find your energy levels increase dramatically, and that you are more equipped to think clearly about your next steps.

The journey towards health is a step-by-step process. It doesn't all happen at once. I wish you well with yours.

thank you for your help a very good friend has steered me towards an ostopath she has used for many years so i am going to see him tomorrow and i am so looking forward to the experience
