Out of commission today for the holiday (my Catholic upbringing included the rule that when any religion takes a holiday, we all stop working...) but sounds like a recon mission for Friday. Hell, what's the worst that happens? An old lady rubs my feet for half an hour and I go hope and take a really hot shower and a cipro...

Damn KO, you're really racking up the frequent flier miles in Ctown. There is a basement foot spa on the north side of Div & Forsythe(?). A goofy papa was running the joint, but saw a interesting mix grannies and do-ables. Got cold feet and went with a sure thing at SW.

Directly across Grand street from popular spot "Relaxation" sits this little joint, still somehow flying a few hundred feet under the radar. Nothing more and nothing less than a perfect example of the Chinatown equation - no privacy, damned good massage, extremely basic facility, attentive service, low cost.

Unexceptional, typical CTown spot - short walls, curtains, strong perfume or possibly some sort of incense smell in the air, no table shower, no air conditioning. On the other hand, the place is clean, or at least not obviously unclean, and it does have kind of a hazy, warm feel to it.

I had Amy and, yes, she's pretty old. How old? Damned if I know. Surely old enough to be a grandma. But, I gotta admit, she's a beautiful woman and she takes care of herself. Somewhat limited English - a lot of talking to herself and over the wall to the other provider in words I absolutely did not understand. But she was sweet and had a great sense of humor. Personally, I thought she was hot - a lot of guys would be put off by her age and if you don't fantasize about the mamasan every now and then, adjust accordingly... Whatever her age, she's a hell of a lot easier on the eyes than many of the ladies working in CTown.

She gave a top notch massage. Her strong hands definitely worked a little magic on my spine. She walked on my back a little - which is not my favorite, usually, but she knows what she's doing and did it well.

The finish was nothing out of the ordinary - garden variety HR - but there was no hesitation and it ended happily for me.

The value here is excellent - half hour is $25, 45 minutes is $35, an hour is $45. I took 45 minutes and she was definitely pleased with $35 as a tip. She even dug around in the candy bowl to find some particular mint for me...which I accepted graciously and then tossed in the garbage can on the corner. I dig Asian women, not Asian candy.

Simple, easy Chinatown fun here and the cost of entry is about as low as it gets in Manhattan. My instinct tells me this could be a really fun place on repeat visits.
