Ozgaijin > How long have you lived in Japan ?

I myself lived there, in Saitama, for 4 years in total. Pity I didn't enjoy the same joy / strike rate with Japanese women as you seem to have had. Mine was pathetic. Making a Japanese girlfriend within 6 months of arriving there, killed any chance of playing the field I might have had.

Speaking Japanese fluently didn't seem to make a difference, in my experience.

My own theory is that if you're the type of guy who has "the knack" for getting chicks to put out for you at home in your own country, you'll make the transition and achieve the same or more success in Japan. However, if you're the type of guy who suffered "big brother syndrome" at home, don't expect that going to Japan will suddenly rid you of that curse.

Not necessarily. It still depends on how you look, act, dress, talk to girls, clubs you go to,...etc. I'm over 30 and have no problem scoring in Roppongi. I have gotten "lucky" more times in Roppongi, than I have not.

This is the rage for a while now in Japan.....these places are called "happuningu" bars....just the Japanization of the word happening....it just means that when you go to those bars ANYTHING can HAPPEN....there is no advertisement except to say "ladies night on Wednesday" etc....but no details.....whatever happens is up to the event organizer or the impetus of the crowd.....Have been and have seen people just get it on with strangers, BJ, 3-some anything goes.....and girls would just come up and ask if you like have them piss in your beer.....yes I know WTF??? I have been to Roppongi many many times, and I think that, if you are over 30, you have almost no hope there.
In hearthland, the main bar of Roppongi, gaijin are crammed there, I never saw any of them pick up a nice gal.
It happened just once to me, a very nice gal, but that is the exception
Roppongi for me is a total fraud, unless maybe you are 25.
A colleague of mine, he was 24, scored in Roppongi the first time he got there, but me, I have seen many over 30s going over and over in bars like HL, Muse, Vanilla and never pick up a gal

Benedict, not very patriotic of me I know, but Id rate Sapporo as a better beer than VB. Only gaijin bars are free to enter, nightclubs frequented by Japanese generally charge a 3k yen or more admission fee which usually includes one drink or sometimes 2, I dont have a problem with this as western clubs do the same, but in a western club if you want to leave and come back later that night they will let you in again, not so in Japan unless you pay another entry fee. This is a blatant rip off. Japanese bars and clubs are very small so the number of Jgirls there are not worth the entry fee when there atre so many thousands outside for free in coffee shops, shops, parks, trains, streets, beaches and hiking courses.

Agreed. Nampa is the way to go. Trolling for Jgals in the clubs is a helluva lot more fun if you are in the 20-30 year-old bracket, but when I go now (very seldom) I can't stand those places for more than an hour! Karaoke clubs, Parks (Yamashita Koen!), and basically anywhere trendy around the major train lines are full of hot girls. I tend to take advaneforum.xxxe of married women in Oz cos I am bit younger and reasonably well presented and I find that if you can score a lady who hasnt been touched lately by the husband, they love it when a young guy comes along keen as mustard. In Japan, I normally stick to the younger bartenders and students who are looking my way.

Yes, I am inclined to agree that if you are young (you look under 32) and you have reasonable nihongo you shouldnt need to pay. It is the wise gaijin however who doesnt spend more on getting a girl for free than he does paying, this is quite easy to do in Tokyo if you are not careful. In Roppongi a can or bottle of beer is 1k yen, 10 of these is ichiman(10k yen) for ichiman I could have 30 minutes with a beautiful young Colombiana in Koganecho. Try doing that in Oz for the price of 10 cans in a pub!!!!!
But 10 cans is only the begining, then there is dinner drinks love hotel, all this can easily set you back 40k yen, wheras playing nampa I picked up an 18 year old took her to Starbucks then paid her 20k yen for all night in a love hotel, there are a lot of semipros in Japan but you need to be a goodnampa artist to get them. I reiterate that one of my best experiences in Japan was with a 50 year old married woman who I met while hiking, seduced on a riverbank, her husband hadnt touched her in 20 years she said, and I believe her.Such an insensitive bastard richly deserves to be cuckolded in my view. Nampa is really the only way with married women in Japan, I answered internet ads for married women but never got a reply, no doubt they had thousands of replies from cuckolded Japanese salarymen. Ikebukuro is good for married women from Saitama, the shops are cheaper than Shinjuku and its quicker for them to get back to Saitama since the Seibu-Shinjuku sen is one of the most crowded trains in Tokyo.

I have been laid in Tel Aviv and I speak no Hebrew. But i have also been laid in Roppongi, Ikebukuro and Shibuya but I have some ability in nihongo. If you are a half decent and young gaijin, you shouldnt need to go to brothels or hostess bars. I found some Jap girls would date no one other than caucasian gaijin whereas others prefer those Nigerian guys that loiter around the place. A great place to score for free IMHO but yes, you definitely need some Japanese language know how.

Despite relatively poor Japanese skills I leaned a lot about Japan because I was always out, always getting around Tokyo by foot or train or jitensha. I can not emphasise enough thefact that the p4p scene in Japan for the visiting non Japanese speaking gaijin is nothing like that of other east asian countries where touts and girls will constantly solicit you. Most p4p places in Japan the touts will ignore you, the Japanese ones that is, however gaijin touts will try to get you to their clubs in Roppongi Shinjuku Shibuya, I never went with these guys and from what Ive seen posted neither should you. Most but not all of these guys are African or Black American. Chinese massueses will pester you everywhere you go in Tokyo, I have had good experiences with them but that is because I lived in China and Taiwan speak just a little Chinese and have had many chinese girlfriends so I can pick the good ones. Unless you have my level of Chinagirl experience I dont recommend them, as other posters have found out.

In the weekly english speaking on line classifieds tokyometropolis.com there are many personal ads, it isnt difficult to work out the p4p ones. These girls will be both gaijin and Japanese. I have never tried any of the english speaking escort agencies. You can keep going to soaplands esutes pink salons image clubs whatever until one lets you in, sooner or later one will, just be prepared to hear "I'm sorry sir Japanese only" very frequently. It's just the way it is here dont worry about it just go to the next place it wont be far away.

Good news for me!!! I just adore middle eastern girls Arab or Oriental Jewish, never been to the Middle East but figured Israel would have the most accessable p4p scene.In fact after my divorce when I was broke I seriously considered joining a kibbutz, I am not Jewish but figured theyd still enjoy having me around. It makes sense that a lot of Israelis would speak English. Japan is different though, while many Japanese have studied English and can read it well they cantspeak or understand it, many know lots of english words but the grammar is totally different. I taught JHS in Japan most of the 2 years I was there so I know that while English is compolsory it isnt taken at all seriously, it is like a rest class from the hectic highschool academic schedule.
