This is more of an FYI thread. If anyone wants to move it to another area, do so. The Europe threads are pretty quiet and I want to direct this to my fellow Torontonians who may be thinking of travelling to Europe.
You can do a Google search for FKK Sauna Clubs to see what I am talking about (be aware that just "FKK" will lead you to nudist camps). I was in Austria this fall and went to this place: Home 2023 - WELLCUM. These types of "clubs" are mainly found in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Czechia. They are basically high end bordellos where you pay an entrance fee and have access to a variety of available women, for an additional fee of course. Prices vary, ameneties vary and numbers of women vary from place to place. Good to do your own research beforehand. But for any of you planning a European trip in the next while, it's a very interesting experience to say the least. I can only speak of my own day in the place mentioned above.
Being a bit of a literary sort, I've always been curious about the whole bordello/brothel scene. Too many 19th century novels I guess: Hugo, Zola, etc. So, travelling in Europe this fall, I looked into these FKK Sauna Clubs which I'd heard about before and on my journey I discovered I would be passing close by one of them, the Wellcum club in southern Austria. I was nervous as can be, of course, but determined to do the deed. Stopped in there mid-day and paid the entrance fee. 90 euros, which equates to about $150 CAD. Once inside you have access to quite a large environment which comfy couches, a bar, pool, several saunas and a buffet style restaurant. Your 90 euros buys you entrance to all of this, including eat all you want in the restaurant and a couple of free drinks at the bar. This particular club is one of the larger ones in the area so there were about 20-30 semi-clad women wandering about, naked or in skimpy lingerie, and absolutely beautiful in my view (most of them anyway). Heaven.
How much do I want to tell here? Well, how you manage your time and libido is up to you. I met a young Slovenian guy who went off with a different woman every hour or so over the course of four or five hours. Since it costs 70 euros ($100) a time not counting any special "extras," I think he probably blew through his savings to that point (no pun). So you can clearly go as often as you like, and spend as much money as you want. The women, I might add, were not just beautiful here but also quite personable I found. Most of them speak English to an extent. It's the lingua franca here: many of the women are from Romania and Bulgaria and most of their clientele in this place come from Austria, Italy or Slovenia so that's the language they all used to communicate. They don't see many Canadians--the women I spoke with were quite intrigued as to my presence there.
I might add that this particular place is out in the middle of nowhere but they do have a hotel attached with reasonable rates. I've also been told that you can bring women there to your room. I did not do this so can't comment. I ended up staying in a guest house in a nearby town and went there very much on my own after spending about seven hours in the club.
