Financial crisis hurting Plzen area brothels

It has been my experience that when a country/state/city falls on hard times the women seeking work in this way move from indoors to outdoors. It does not go away it just becomes more visible to those who know what to look for (it is not always the obvious that gratifies). I have always been a window shopper (my car window) and bad economic times tend to set the stage in my favor. I have been to Eastern Europe several times over the past 5 years and I will return again after this coming summer (let the tourists head home first). I have a feeling there will be a fairly large selections strolling about. If you prefer brothels then I agree with MarkABC you will have a limited selection and when that happens (supply and demand) your cost will increase and you are in their house so they have all the control. I will stick to the road and have a bit more control/say over the situation. Happy trails, Carryon!

The financial crisis is also hitting brothels at the German border. In the Plzen area, Zelezna Ruda and Ceska Kubice are famous by Germans sex tourists but recently the locals brothels are seeing a significant decrease of german visitors.

The german economy is now facing bad times and Germans are reducing their spending, including paid sex as well.

It hardly affects brothels in towns like Zelezna Ruda or Domazlice. Residents are pleased of the decrease of sex tourists and the closing of almost half of the city brothels.

City officials hope that "regular" tourists will replace "sex tourists". The criminality also decreased in the area since brothels closed.

Last five years the border-area brothels are seeing a endless decrease of clients coming from Gemany with the strenghten of the Czech Crown to the Euro and the current world financial crisis is hurting them for good.
